First Hair cut and Trip.

The pictures are in reverse I will have to fix it another time. If you look at them from bottom to top they tell the story more. The bottom pic being the morning we leave for Cali. The next one is before haircut and the crying one is after. The top pic is Nick with his Grandma in Cali.

First Birthday

I am way behind on updating. Seems time just got away from me. On April 21, 2009 Nick turned 1!! We took him to the aquarium with my neighbors and their 2 girls, Faith and Brook. And Candice and Dustin with their little girl Isabella. All the children had a blast and enjoyed the sites. They all fell asleep as soon as we left the parking lot. We came back to our home for cake. I made a baseball cake and a small baseball cake for Nick to smash into. At first he did not like having the icing on his fingers. He threw most of the cake to the floor. The next day I took him to Penney's for his 1yr shots. He had his one year appointment the 24Th and he weighed 22.9 and was 29.5inches long. His head was 19. He only got one of his shots because of his reaction to eggs we had to do a blood draw to see if he is allergic before they can administer the shots. I am hoping he is not allergic. He is really walking more and more. He walks about 40% of the time now. That is all for now!

Changing feedings

Just a quick post about his new feedings. We are attempting to cut down n some of his formula. Plus the Dr. wanted us to try and get rid of the bottle. So he told us to put the good stuff in a cup like formula or juice and water in his bottle. He said Nicholas would take not like having the water in his bottle and choose the good stuff. I should have known this would not work with him but I gave it a shot. So I put some juice in his cup and water in the bottle. Of course big struggle there was noway he was taking that cup. So I offered the bottle he he took it and drank every bit of the water. So it boils down to he doesn't care whats in the bottle only that its a bottle. I have managed though to eliminate one formula feeding which was my goal. Also he has 5 teeth now. 3 top ones and the 2 bottom front teeth. I hope to post some new pictures this week. I am going to be taking the little guy to the park for the first time this coming weekend. Weather permitting of course.

Guests

This weekend Nicholas had his Aunt Anne, Uncle Ryan, and Grandma C come to visit. The visit went very well. He was a bit apprehensive at first wondering who the strangers were in his home but soon came around and enjoyed them. The visit was short but was a wonderful time. We can't wait to visit again! Also in the past few days he has really starting to pick up the word no. It is quite funny but I try hard not to laugh.

3 teeth, 2 more coming

Nicholas has 3 teeth now. I knew he had been teething but I had been waiting for one of the 2 top front teeth. Who would of thought that his 3rd tooth would be a 2nd incisor on top. The other 2 to be coming in is the other 2nd incisor and one of his cuspids. A bit out of order but then a lot of things he does is out of order!

10 Months today

Nicholas is 10 months today. He actually slept until quarter to 9 this morning. Very unusual for him. Right now he is opening and shutting doors. Loves to play with everything except his toys! He is walking more and more with walking toys and such. I know he could walk but he is a bit cautious. I am trying to get some 10 month pics of him today.

Introduction

I am starting this blog a little late. I wish I had thought to start it when Nicholas was born on April 21, 2008. I am hoping to catch some moments of him growing up. When he came along after loosing 2 beautiful boys before him it was for us the beginning of our family. I am the mom, Stacy and my husbands name is Mario. We married Sept. 4, 2005. We lost our first baby May 7th ,2006 at 21 weeks. We lost our second child Dec. 26th, 2006.

I work as a pharmacy tech and my husband is a vw tech. We have 2 dogs Mocha and Sammy who we love very much. I hope to have one more child. Being a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
